About Me
I have been working in the nonprofit and education sectors for most of my life. To these industries I have contributed a passion for learning and teaching, a range of leadership skills, and the strong desire to make my community more equitable and sustainable.
My most intensely held belief is that both formal and informal educators must assist learners in the acquisition of critical thinking skills. In doing so we foster a new generation of problem solvers, who seek to redefine and fulfill democratic ideals. When learners are encouraged, and given the tools to think critically, they become the next generation of thought leaders.
Because I identify as an educator and artist in equal measure it is also my passionately held belief that visual literacy and support for entrepreneurs (particularly within the creative industries) is invaluable.
These convictions have led me to a career as the Manager at Anythink Library in Brighton Colorado. I invite anyone working in formal or informal education, library services, nonprofit, public policy, or the arts to please connect and reach out to me. I look forward to collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations to grow and strengthen our community.
